Jesuit began the 2023 season with a 0-1-1 record, tying Lake Travis, 2-2 before dropping an 8-7 decision to Weiss on day one of the Pflugerville ISD Tournament at Weiss High School. The Rangers saw several strong performances from debuting varsity members, while the returning Ranger contingent provided some electricity for the Blue and Gold in their season opener.

Braxton Barber drove in his first varsity run with a sacrifice fly during a three-run second inning for the Rangers.Â

Will Greenwood made the start, throwing 1.2 innings and striking out a batter. Senior
Preston Payne picked up two strikeouts while sophomore Ty Moorhead struck out a batter in his varsity debut.
