Jesuit Dallas scored two runs in the fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh innings, turning a scoreless tie into a resounding, 8-1 win over Lake Highlands on Tuesday at Lake Highlands H.S. The Rangers improve their district record to 2-1 ahead of a Friday night showdown against the Wildcats.

On the mound, sophomore
Dillon Brandt threw a complete game and secured his first win of the season with a season-high 11 strikeouts and no earned runs on four hits allowed. Brandt retired the final seven batters from Lake Highlands in order to clinch the win.
