Jesuit secured six runs in the second and six runs in the sixth, piecing together an impressive offensive showcase that led to a 12-0 win over Lake Highlands on Friday at Wright Field. The Rangers have won three straight district games and will face a tight turnaround with another district series against Irving set to start on Saturday night.

On the mound, senior
Luke Isett secured his fifth win of the season by throwing a one-hitter, striking out one batter and forcing seven ground outs along with six fly outs. In the fifth inning, Lake Highlands attempted to extend the game with a runner on first and one out, but on the first pitch of the ensuing at bat, Jesuit ended the game with a 5-4-3 double play to secure the five-inning, run-rule victory.
Jesuit will head to Irving H.S. to battle the Tigers on Saturday afternoon. First pitch is scheduled for 2 p.m. The Rangers will return to Wright Field on Tuesday, March 28 to finish the season series against Irving at 7 p.m.
