The Rangers withstood a vaunted defensive effort by J.J. Pearce, holding the Mustangs to a 21.6 shooting percentage from the field and a 14.3 percent clip from three-point range en route to securing a 47-28 win on Jan. 26 at Walsh Gym.

Caleb Steger recorded a double-double, scoring 14 points and tacking on 12 points for the Rangers. Steger shot 5-of-16 from the floor and hit a trio of three-pointers, tacking on a team-high four assists and a steal. Junior

Kemp tacked on eight rebounds for the Rangers, followed by seven boards for Grant. Kemp and Gramlich wrapped the contest with three assists apiece.

The Rangers will return to action on Friday, Feb. 2 as the Blue and Gold welcomes Berkner to Walsh Gym for senior night. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m., and the Rangers' six-member senior class will be recognized prior to the contest.
