Jesuit Dallas celebrated senior night in style on Friday, securing a 64-51 win over Berkner at Walsh Gymnasium. Following a tightly contested three quarters, the Rangers began the fourth on a 15-2 run that put the Blue and Gold in position for the victory.

All five starters for the Rangers secured double-digit performances, led by junior
Caleb Steger, who scored 16 points while also being one of three student-athletes to secure nine rebounds on the night. Senior
Hank Gramlich scored 14 points, adding an assist and a steal, senior
Alec Piotrowski buried four three-pointers en route to a 14-point performance, and the tandem of senior
Tre Mergerson and junior
Michael Grant notched 11 points apiece.

The Rangers finished the contest with a 34-29 rebounding advantage and scored 22 points off of 16 Berkner turnovers. Jesuit also dominated in the point, scoring 28 points inside the lane, including a stellar alley-oop slam-dunk recorded by Grant off of a feed from Gramlich.

Jesuit will finish the regular season with three straight road games, beginning with a showdown against Nimitz on Tuesday in Irving. In the first meeting of the year between the two teams, Jesuit upended the Vikings, 69-39, behind a full team performance that saw nine Rangers reach the scoring column. Tip-off on Tuesday is set for 7 p.m.
