The Rangers finished the 2024 Lewisville Round Robin with a 2-2 record, storming back from a 61-59 setback to Frisco Wakeland with a 57-47 victory over Lewisville.

Against Wakeland, senior
Michael Grant scored a career-high 33 points, shooting 13-of-26 from the floor, 3-of-10 from three-point range and 4-of-5 from the free-throw line. Grant matched junior
William Alexander for the team lead in rebounding as both Rangers dragged down seven rebounds. Senior
Charlie Peters continued his all-around excellence for the Blue and Gold, notching a 10-point performance, adding a team-high four assists and securing four boards. Senior
Kevin Butera scored five points, junior
Cooper Jensen scored three points, senior
Caleb Steger and Alexander added three points apiece and senior
Ethan Mahowald rounded out the Jesuit scoring column with two points.

In the tournament finale against Lewisville, Steger led the Rangers with 24 points, followed by 14 points from Grant. Peters racked up four assists alongside five rebounds and six points while Jensen and Alexander notched two steals apiece. Jesuit dominated in the paint, out-scoring the Farmers, 30-18 and shot 42.6 percent from the field.Â

Jesuit will return to action on Friday, January 3 as the Rangers will host Richardson. An early tip-off is set for 4:30 p.m. at Walsh Gym.
