The Jesuit Dallas baseball team will begin district play with a 16-0 record, as the Rangers finished the non-district tournament season as the lone unbeaten team in UIL Class 6A with a 7-4 win over Lake Travis on Saturday in Leander.
 
Junior Jake Fults capped a stellar weekend with a 3-for-4 performance, recording a triple and driving in a run. Sophomores Braxton Barber and Taylor Haddock drove in two runs apiece while junior E'Mar Fleming II tallied a triple.
 
On the mound, junior Brayden Montes pieced together a dazzling performance, notching the win while striking out 11 batters during a complete game outing. Montes did not allow an earned run en route to the victory.
