UA six-run fifth inning helped Jesuit Dallas come storming back from an early three-run deficit, propelling the Rangers to a 10-5 win over J.J. Pearce on Wednesday night at Wright Field.

Jaxx Rigelsky earned his fourth win of the season, throwing four innings of relief, holding the Mustangs to one run on one hit while striking out seven batters. Junior
Asher Levy earned the start on the mound, throwing three innings and striking out four batters.

Jesuit trailed Pearce, 4-1 in the fourth inning, scoring its first run in the third inning due to a Pearce throwing error. Sophomore

Braxton Barber crushed a ball to deep left center that one-hopped over the wall for a ground-rule double, plating Jorgensen and junior
E'Mar Fleming II to tie the game at 4-4. Pearce regained the lead with a run in the top of the fifth, but the Rangers took firm control of the contest with six runs on five hits in the bottom of the frame.

The Ranger rally in the fifth began with a single to second by junior
Jake Fults, who then stole second to put the game-tying run in scoring position. A single to center by Haddock plated Fults to tie the game before Bird launched a single to center to score Haddock. Fleming, Wilson, junior

Shane Parker capped the Rangers' scoring in the inning, handing the Rangers a five-run advantage. Rigelsky shut out the Mustangs in the sixth and seventh to help the Rangers clinch the win.

Jesuit Dallas finishes the first league series with a 1-1 record in District 7-6A, splitting the season series against Pearce. The Rangers will return to the field on Tuesday, March 19 against Lake Highlands at Wright Field. First pitch is scheduled for 7 p.m.
