The Rangers erupted for a pair of convincing victories on Wednesday, upending district foe Highland Park, 15-5 before securing a 17-9 win over Denton Guyer at the David A. Segal Family Aquatic Center. Jesuit finishes the first round of district competition with a 3-1 record and will begin the home stretch of the regular season on Friday at home.

Jackson Powell took over in the second half, racking up seven saves.

Gall, Kennington and Lazar racked up hat tricks against Denton Guyer, while Stevens, Miller and Wylie scored two goals apiece. Hughes and Nino each found the back of the net as Stevens, Miller and Bartusek secured two assists apiece. Bartusek secured an additional victory on the night with eight saves during the first half before Powell made a save in the fourth quarter.

Jesuit returns to action on Friday for another double-header. The Rangers will square off against district foe South Grand Prairie at 2 p.m. followed by a 4:30 p.m. tilt against John Paul II. Jesuit will aim for the season sweep of South Grand Prairie, following a 25-4 win over the Warriors on September 3.
