DALLAS - Four players scored in double figures to power Jesuit Dallas past Rowlett, 67-56, in overtime at Walsh Gym on Friday.
Jesuit (1-2) outscored the visitors 18-7 in the extra session to pick up its first win of the season.
Pierce Popelka had 15 points, four rebounds, two assists and a block for the Rangers.
Justin Fern and
Andrew Eakes had 14 points apiece.Â
Dashel Glasgow was a force inside with 10 points and a game-high nine rebounds.
As a team, Jesuit shot 40 percent and made a season-best eight 3-pointers. The Rangers also connected on 17-of-21 at the free throw line.
Rowlett shot just 32 percent and got 24 points from Bryson McManigell.
Jesuit will return to action Monday and Tuesday in an event hosted at Frisco Lone Star High School. On Monday, the Rangers face Flower Mound at Noon and Frisco Liberty at 4:30 p.m. Both games will be in the auxiliary gym. Jesuit will take on Frisco Wakeland on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m.
