The Jesuit Dallas soccer team picked up its second mercy rule win of the 2025 season on Tuesday, shutting out Nimitz, 8-0 at Ranger Stadium.
 
Senior Noah McGough and sophomore Zane Rowland scored two goals apiece while additional tallies were recorded by seniors Clyde Araiza, Octavio Monjaras, Max Sabogal and junior Cooper McGough. Monjaras added two assists, and the trio of Sabogal, Cooper McGough and senior Andres Benitez secured one assist apiece. Senior Marcelo Elizondo played the full game in net, securing the shutout and making a save.
 
Jesuit Dallas will head into a key district matchup on Friday as the Rangers will travel to Irving H.S. The Tigers handed Jesuit its lone loss of the season, a 2-1 decision on January 22, and the Rangers will aim to take over sole possession of the district with a victory over the Tigers. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. at Irving High School.
