Corbyn Wendorf in the 71st minute snapped a scoreless tie, helping propel Jesuit Dallas to a 2-0 win over Arlington Lamar in the bi-district round of the University Interscholastic League (UIL) Region I-6A Division II Playoff on Friday, March 21 in Irving, Texas. With the victory, Jesuit Dallas will advance to face Denton Guyer in the UIL area round on Tuesday, March 25 at 7 p.m. at John Clark Stadium in Plano, Texas.

Clyde Araiza and deflected to Wendorf, who deposited the ball into the right side of the net to give Jesuit its first lead of the evening. Minutes later, junior
Cooper McGough launched a deep pass to Araiza, who broke away from the last Lamar defender and slotted a shot past the Lamar goalkeeper to give Jesuit a two-goal lead with a minute left in regulation.

The winner of Tuesday's showdown between the Rangers and Wildcats will advance to play either El Paso Montwood or Byron Nelson in the Region I-6A Division II Semifinal. Montwood (16-5-1) won its first round game against Frenship, 1-0 while Byron Nelson (9-6-5) upended Fort Worth Boswell, 2-1, in the bi-district round. The Bobcats and Rams will meet at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 25 at Lubbock-Cooper H.S.
