The Jesuit Dallas volleyball team dominated its playoff-opening matchup against Nolan Catholic, sweeping the Vikings in three sets, 25-23, 25-15, 25-23 on April 22 in Fort Worth.
 
Miles McGovern led the way with 12 kills on the evening, racking up a .409 hitting percentage alongside four aces, two blocks and six digs. Sophomore Dashel Glasgow posted a four-kill performance while sophomore Eli Garza led the team with six aces on the day.
 
Junior Cash Ramirez and sophomore Daniel Shao picked up three aces apiece, with Shao adding a team-high eight digs. Garza picked up four kills, junior Grant Bomersbach secured three kills, and junior Trey Graves added a kill to the team's effort. Ramirez added a team-high 27 assists.
 
Jesuit will advance to the regional final, where the Rangers will match up against the Red River Rattlers. The match is set for 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 29 at Walsh Gym. Read Full Article
