IRVING, Texas - The Jesuit Dallas basketball team dropped a 65-57 decision on the road at MacArthur on Tuesday.
Jesuit is now 7-10 on the season and 0-2 in District 7-6A play.
MacArthur scored the game's first 15 points in the opening four minutes and held the lead the remainder of the game. Jesuit pulled to within seven with just over a minute to play but never got closer.
Pierce Popelka led Jesuit with 18 points on 7-of-9 shooting, while grabbing four rebounds and three steals.
Jack Schar and
Colin Grant also hit double figures in scoring with 15 and 11, respectively. Schar made all three of the team's 3-pointers on the night while establishing career highs in minutes (19), points and triples made.
The Rangers will be back in action on Friday night when they travel to Richardson for a 7 p.m. contest.
