RICHARDSON, Texas - The Jesuit Dallas basketball team fell to Richardson, 62-51, in district play on Friday night.
Jesuit is now 0-3 in District 7-6A action and has lost its last five overall.
Jesuit shot 48 percent in the game and connected on 10 3-pointers.
William Alexander and
Justin Fern each had 12 points to lead the Rangers, while Andrew Eackes finished with 11.
The game had a sloppy start but Richardson was able to get things going offensively first, pulling out to an 11-1 lead. The Eagles built an 18-6 lead after eight minutes and took a 33-16 lead into the half.
Jesuit battled back and pulled to within 44-38 with 6:20 remaining in the game. But RHS hit a 3-pointer and got a transition layup off a turnover to stretch the lead back into double digits.
Lucas Sutherland had a game-high 27 for the Eagles.
The Rangers will play Berkner on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Walsh Gym. It will be the team's first home game since December 6.
