RICHARDSON, Texas - The Jesuit Dallas cycling team had a great group of six racers ride at the Norbuck Cyclocross Race on Wednesday night. Many of the first year team members competed as well.
In the 25 minute Short Track race, which is open to all racers of all ages and abilities the Rangers entered five racers including one freshman in his first ever cycling race.
Wesley Tavares and Aidan Grafe both rode to top-10 finishes.

Wesley Tavares '29
9th: Aidan Grafe '30
12th:
Austin Dourty '29
19th: Caleb Vilfordi '30
26th: Britain Salmon '30
In that race they also separated the junior results in two age buckets: 15-18 and u15. In those age-based Short Track Results in 15-18 Wesley was 6th while Austin was 7th and then in the u15 Aidan was 2nd while Britain was 7th.
Immediately following the Short Track race was the 30-minute Cyclocross "C" Race on the same course but this time with the addition of two barricades in the grass section of the course and one barricade - a fallen tree trunk - in the woods. Despite having already rode a race, all three freshman were able to have another race rep of the chaotic first lap experience. In the end, Grafe and Salmon completed the whole race. Grafe found his groove as he worked his way through traffic in the first half of the race doing some solid passes to work his way up into second place and spent the rest of the race chasing down the lone rider that was significantly farther ahead.
"C" Race overall Results:
2nd: Aidan Grafe '30
20th: Britain Salmon '30
"C" Race Junior Results (u19):
1st: Aidan Grafe '30
3rd: Britain Salmon '30
