Jimmer Moran made eight 3-pointers to help lead Jesuit Dallas to a 91-40 Senior Night victory over Irving at Walsh Gym on Friday.
Moran came off the bench in the second half and scored a career-high 26 points on 8-of-10 from outside to lead the Rangers in scoring. Seniors
Pierce Popelka and
Justin Fern added 14 and 13 points, respectively. Popelka was 5-of-5 from the floor and 4-of-5 at the free throw line.
Jesuit (15-13, 9-4 District 7-6A) extended its win streak to a season-best five and downed Irving for the 16th-consecutive meeting. The Rangers made a season-high 15 3-pointers and shot 51 percent in the game.
Jesuit used a 17-0 run over a 5-minute span from the end of the first qtr to the midway point of the second qtr to extend the lead to 35-10.
The Rangers will play at J.J. Pearce on Tuesday at 7 p.m. to finished the regular-season. Jesuit has clinched a UIL postseason berth and will await the announcement of the bracket next week.
