RICHARDSON, Texas - The Jesuit Dallas basketball team took an early lead and maintained the momentum for a 52-40 road win over J.J. Pearce in the final regular-season game for each team at Pearce High School on Tuesday.
Jesuit (17-13, 10-4 District 7-6A) extended its winning streak to a season-best six games and is 10-1 in its last 11 contests. The Rangers swept the season series with the Mustangs and finished tied for second in the the district standings. Jesuit will be the top seed out of District 7 in next week's UIL Division 2 Playoff region. The match-ups will get announced later this week.
Jesuit shot 50 percent in the contest and assisted on 15 of 19 field goals.
