Ranger Hoops Stays Hot With 65-48 Road Win

Jesuit will play its next two games at home

RICHARDSON, Texas - The Jesuit Dallas basketball team continued it's strong play of late with a 65-48 road victory over Berkner at the BHS Big Gym on Friday night.

Jesuit has won its last three and seven of its last eight to improve to 14-13 overall and 7-4 in District 7-6A play.

The Rangers led for the majority of the opening quarter before the Rams got a late three for their first lead of the contest. BHS led 18-15 two minutes into the second quarter before Jesuit went on an impressive run. The Blue & Gold closed out the opening half on a 8-0 run to take a 26-18 lead into the locker room.

Jesuit only got stronger in the second half, scoring the first seven points and growing the margin to 33-18. The Rangers led by as many as 26 with under four minutes remaining  to secure the season sweep over the Rams.

With three district games remaining, Jesuit will return home for the next two, beginning Tuesday night against Nimitz at 7:00 p.m.
