Jesuit Dallas basketball head coach earned his 300th career victory on Tuesday, as the Rangers outlasted J.J. Pearce for a 51-48 overtime victory on Tuesday at Walsh Gym. Senior
Ryan McCormick scored a career-high 25 points to lead the charge for the Rangers, who improve to 6-2 in District 7-6A play.

McCormick shot 12-of-17 from the floor and secured eight rebounds, matching seniors

Will Mansour for the team lead. The senior scored 15 of his 25 points in the first quarter, scoring every point for the Rangers during the opening stanza.

In overtime, the Jesuit defense took over, holding Pearce to a 2-for-8 clip from the floor and 1-for-5 from three-point range. Jesuit scored 32 points in the paint, 18 second chance points off 14 offensive rebounds and eight points off Pearce turnovers.

Jesuit will next travel to Lake Highlands on Friday to take on a state-ranked Wildcats team. Lake Highlands is currently ranked ninth in the state with a 24-3 record and improved to 7-1 in District 7-6A with a 93-61 win over MacArthur on Tuesday.
