Jesuit Dallas forced 24 turnovers, held Fort Worth South Hills to a 25.7 shooting percentage and saw four members of the roster notch double-digit scoring performances as the Rangers secured a 76-26 win over the Scorpions in the first round of the 59th Annual Knights of Columbus Bob Stras Dallas Classic on Thursday at Walsh Gym. Jesuit will advance to play Frisco Centennial at 7 p.m. on Friday in the second championship semifinal of the tournament, which will double as the team's annual Teddy Bear Toss night.

Aldridge led the team with four steals, Gramlich tacked on a team-high seven assists, and the trio of Kryger, Aldridge and Mathie pulled down five rebounds each. Jesuit shot 47.6 percent from the field, and secured 48 points in the paint during the matchup.
On Friday, the Rangers will take on a Frisco Centennial team that defeated Dallas Lincoln, 80-48, on Thursday evening. Friday night's game will also serve as the annual Teddy Bear Toss game. Any individual who brings a teddy bear to Friday's game will be granted free admission, and after Jesuit's first made basket of the contest, all the bears will be tossed onto the court and subsequently donated to Texas Children's Hospital. Tip-off for Friday's game is set for 7 p.m.
