Jesuit's annual sixth-man game lived up to the namesake, as a packed Walsh Gym provided a decisive home court advantage and helped the Rangers secure a 67-31 win over Irving on Friday night. The Rangers secure their 10th district win of the season and enter their regular season finale against Richardson on a four-game winning streak.

Grant Kostos was one of four Rangers to score in double digits, and finished the game 5-of-7 from the floor and 4-of-5 from the free-throw line for a team-high 14 points. Senior
Ryan McCormick secured a team-high eight rebounds and scored 11 points. Junior

Ben Johnson added 10 points as Jesuit's final double-digit scorer.

The Rangers finished the contest 50 percent from the floor (27-of-54) as a team, adding eight three-pointers. Jesuit's defense stood tall once again, holding the Tigers to an 0-for-18 clip from behind the arc and forcing 16 turnovers that directly led to 21 points.

Jesuit will welcome the state's top-ranked team to Walsh Gym for a 7 p.m. tip-off on Tuesday that will serve as the regular season finale. The Rangers will enter the playoffs as the No. 3 seed out of District 7-6A, and will face Arlington Martin at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 22 at Coppell H.S. in the UIL Region I-6A bi-district round.
