The Rangers outscored Nimitz, 16-6, in the second quarter, providing enough cushion for Jesuit to pick up a 51-38 win over the Vikings on Monday in Irving. The victory provided a definitive finale to a contest that was delayed twice due to last week's winter storm and provides the Rangers with their second straight district win heading into the final two weeks of the regular season.

Ryan McCormick secured his fourth double-double of the year, scoring 16 points while dragging down 13 rebounds on the night. Senior

Grant Kostos snagged five rebounds each, as Johnson finished the game with six points while Kostos scored four points. Junior

Jesuit out-rebounded Nimitz, 38-24 and held the Vikings to a 1-for-11 clip from three-point range. Nimitz shot 34 percent on the night while the Rangers hit five three-pointers and completed the game with a 40.8 shooting percentage, 26 points in the paint and 15 second chance points.

The Rangers will face a tight turnaround as Jesuit will travel to Richardson on Tuesday to take on Berkner. Jesuit will aim to finish out the road district schedule with a sweep of the Rams before returning to Walsh Gym to take on Irving on Feb. 11 and Richardson on Feb. 15 in a pair of games that will wrap the regular season.
