Double-digit performances from seniors

Sky Tschurr alongside a committed defensive performance led Jesuit Dallas to a 76-34 win over Berkner on Tuesday in Richardson. The Rangers turned in their best shooting performance of the season heading into the final two games of the regular season, both of which will take place inside the friendly confines of Walsh Gym.

Jesuit shot 62.8 percent from the floor, the best clip of the season, and added 12 three-pointers for a season-best 54.5 percent success rate from behind the arc. Mansour went 5-of-7 from the floor to score 11 points with a team-high seven rebounds while Tschurr hit four three-pointers to wrap the game with a team-leading 12 points. Senior

Michael Mathie wrapped Jesuit's scoring with two points, making Tuesday's game the second time this season that every member of the Jesuit Dallas roster landed on the scoresheet.

The Jesuit Dallas defense held Berkner to a 20 percent clip from the floor and 15.6 shooting percentage from behind the arc. The Rangers excelled in the second half, shooting 15-of-22 from the floor, hitting six three-pointers and outscoring the Rams, 43-22.

Jesuit will welcome Irving to Walsh Gym on Friday, Feb. 11 for a 7 p.m. tip-off. The Rangers upended the Tigers, 63-50, in their first matchup on Jan. 18 and will target a season sweep of Irving ISD with the victory. Friday's game will also be the annual Sixth Man Game, and t-shirts will be made available for Jesuit Dallas students prior to the game. In addition, prior to tip, Jesuit Dallas will recognize the senior cheerleaders and four-year senior broadcasters.
