Jesuit Dallas entered the fourth quarter with a two-point lead, but trailed by seven with under three minutes remaining. The Rangers pieced together an electric comeback over the waning moments of the bout, but fell just short of upending J.J. Pearce as the Mustangs defated the Rangers, 67-65, on Tuesday night at J.J. Pearce high school.

Justin Kemp scored 17 points apiece to lead the Jesuit effort. Steger finished the game shooting 6-of-10 from the field and 3-of-5 from outside, ading four rebounds. Kemp hit four three-pointers, finishing the game 6-of-13, and added three rebounds, three assists and two steals. Junior
Will Bronson scored 10 points, notching the first two buckets of the game while pulling down a team-high seven rebounds.

Tai Kryger tacked on 10 points, highlighted by a flawless, 6-for-6 clip from the free-throw line, and added five rebounds. Senior

Jesuit will return to action on Friday, when the Blue and Gold travels to Irving to battle the Tigers. In their first matchup of the season, the Rangers defeated Irving, 76-37 at Walsh Gym. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 20 at Irving H.S.
