A complete, wire-to-wire team effort vaulted Jesuit Dallas to a dominant, 75-22 win over Frisco Liberty on Nov. 28 at Walsh Gym. Jesuit improves to 7-1 with the win ahead of the Knights of Columbus Bob Stras Memorial Invitational, which will start at Walsh Gym on Thursday, Nov. 30.

Michael Grant led the way for Jesuit, scoring 19 points for the Blue and Gold. Grant added five rebounds, picking up two steals and two assists. Junior

Jesuit out-rebounded Frisco Liberty, 33-12, and held the Red Hawks to 30 percent shooting from the field and a 15.8 percent clip from three-point range. By comparison, Jesuit Dallas erupted for a shooting percentage of 53.7, adding a 42.9 clip from three-point range. The Rangers scored 40 points in the paint, 34 points off 18 Frisco Liberty turnovers and 23 second chance points off 15 offensive rebounds.

The Rangers will return to Walsh Gym on Thursday to start the Knights of Columbus Tournament, as the Rangers host Frisco Centennial in the tournament opener. Thursday's game action will start at 1:30 p.m. with Dallas Lincoln facing Lovejoy, followed by Dallas Hillcrest vs. Tascosa at 3 p.m., Sachse and OKC Storm squaring off at 5:30 p.m. and conclude with Jesuit battling Centennial at 7 p.m.

Jesuit's Thursday night game against Centennial will also serve as the team's annual Teddy Bear Toss game; any attendee that brings a teddy bear will be granted free admission, and the bears will be tossed onto the court following Jesuit's first basket. All bears will be donated to children's hospitals across the Metroplex following the teddy bear toss.
