Behind a complete team effort that saw Jesuit Dallas shoot 47.7 percent from the floor while holding Nimitz to a 27.9 shooting clip, the Rangers upended the Vikings, 69-39, on Friday at Walsh Gym. With the victory, the Rangers remain unbeaten in district play as Jesuit secured a strong start to a five-game homestand.

Charlie Peters led the team with seven rebounds on the day, helping the Rangers to a 40-23 rebounding advantage over the Vikings. Jesuit scored 54 of its 69 points in the paint, adding 13 points off of 13 Nimitz turnovers and tacking on 17 second chance points off of 20 offensive boards.

The Rangers will return to action on Tuesday, Jan. 9, when the Blue and Gold welcomes Highland Park to Walsh Gym. Tip-off will take place at 7 p.m.
