PhotosJesuit led from the opening tip to the final buzzer Tuesday night in a 62-46 victory over a strong Skyline team on Senior Night at Walsh Gym in the final game of the regular season. Â
The Rangers now prepare for Round 1 of the UIL 6A basketball playoffs, as Jesuit matches up against Berkner on Tuesday, February 24. The first round game will be played at Richardson High School at 7:30 p.m.Â
In the Skyline game, senior
Tyler Schlapkohl went 4-for-4 from beyond the arc and scored a team-high 16 points, his highest total of the season. Senior
Michael McReynolds earned a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds. Seniors
Hank Shotland and
Peter Lynch also scored 10 points each, as it was the third game this season where four different Rangers scored in double digits.

Jesuit finishes the regular season 18-10, with a 10-4 conference mark in District 9-6A.
This is the ninth consecutive season Jesuit basketball will advance to the UIL playoffs.Â
The Rangers will face Berkner (20-11, 10-4 in District 10-6A) in the Bi-District Round on Tuesday, February 24.  The Rangers beat the Rams 59-53 the first time the teams met in early December (

Peter Lynch scored 19 points in that game, complimented by Schlapkohl's 12 points and Shotland's 11 points.
