Alan Garciamade his return to the Ranger lineup after an early season injury, finishing the game with six points, two rebounds, an assist, block and steal. The difference on the scoreboard came from the Cardinals' success from the free throw line. In Jesuit's 64-61 win over MacArthur on Jan. 12, the Cardinals shot 58.8 percent from the charity stripe, finishing with 10 total points. On Friday, MacArthur converted 25-of-34 free-throw attempts. The Cardinals added 31 points off of Ranger turnovers, while Jesuit Dallas and MacArthur each totaled 24 points in the paint.
Last Time Out: Jesuit Dallas produced its second highest field goal percentage of the season, upending R.L. Turner, 68-38, on Jan. 15 at Walsh Gymnasium. The Rangers shot 56.5 percent from the floor and 45.5 percent from behind the arc, led by 24 points from sophomore

Triumphant Tuesday: Entering tonight's contest against R.L. Turner, the Rangers are 9-1 in games played on Tuesday, entering the game against the Lions winners of seven consecutive Tuesday bouts. Jesuit Dallas is unbeaten in district on Tuesday, most recently defeating W.T. White, 60-48, last Tuesday. In addition, the Rangers aim to continue a dominant season on the road against district opponents, where the Blue and Gold have forged a 5-0 record this season.
Senior Nigh Scheduled for Friday: Prior to Friday's game against Sunset, the Jesuit Dallas basketball program will honor four seniors who will close their Ranger careers this season. Seniors

Catching Up with the Lions: R.L. Turner heads into Tuesday's game with a 4-18 overall record and a 3-8 mark in UIL District 9-6A after falling to Skyline, 72-34, on Friday evening. The Lions defeated Sunset, who the Rangers play Friday, last Tuesday, 51-41, sparked by 16 points from Ken Johnson. R.L. Turner additionally beat Irving, 37-34, on Jan. 29.
Catching Up with the Bison: Currently in eighth place in UIL District 9-6A, Sunset will look for its first district win this week with games against Skyline and Jesuit on the docket. The Bison dropped a 54-35 contest to Irving last Friday after falling to R.L. Turner earlier in the week.
On Deck: The Rangers will travel to Skyline High School for a critical, regular-season closing game next Tuesday before learning their postseason schedule.
