Brian Hall played just two football seasons at Jesuit while lettering once in baseball, but he quickly emerged as one of the greatest signal callers in program history. Twice Hall was named All-State while he guided Jesuit to back-to-back TCIL State Championship titles. Elected team captain as a senior, it’s no surprise that Hall was unanimously voted the team’s offensive MVP.

Taking his talents to the College of the Holy Cross, Hall closed out his collegiate career ranked third all-time in passing yards for the College while becoming the first Crusader to ever pass for more than 5,000 yards and rush for more than 1,000. Hall wound up winning the Davitt Award for being Holy Cross’ top offensive back three times. He was twice named the New England Sportswriters 1-AA Player of the Week, and was a one-time recipient of Sports Network National Player of the Week honors.

Hall served as the Crusaders’ team captain his junior and senior seasons and was named team MVP following both years. In his debut at Holy Cross’ Fritton Field, Hall etched his name into the School record book by becoming the first player in program history to throw for 300 yards and rush for 100 yards in the same game. He was named Patriot League Rookie of the Week three times in the final five weeks of the season and was voted the 1999 Patriot League Rookie of the Year. In Hall’s sophomore season, he paced the Crusaders to their first winning season in a decade.
