A three-year varsity letter-winner in football, track and basketball, Holleman was a member of Jesuit Dallas’ undefeated and TCIL state champion football team in 1991. Holleman, who served in the unique dual role as the Rangers’ starting running back and kicker, was named TCIL All-State as a running back following his sophomore, junior and senior seasons, and TCIL All-State as a kicker as a junior and senior. He was named MVP of the Jesuit football team in both 1990 and 1991.

Holleman was also named MVP of the track team in 1992. A standout in both the vertical and horizontal jumps, Holleman won a state title in the triple jump as a senior.

After graduating from Jesuit, Holleman played defensive back, wide receiver and kicker at the University of New Hampshire from 1992-97. In 1994, he helped UNH win the Yankee Conference Championship.
