Jesuit Dallas Athletics

Clifton George Murray excelled in both basketball and track at Jesuit Dallas. He was a three-year starter for the basketball squad while serving as captain of both the basketball team and track team his senior year. In 1979, Murray was named team MVP and won TCIL All-District honors in both sports.

Murray won district titles in the 100 and 200-yard dashes as a senior, while anchoring the 440-yard relay team to a gold medal. He set a Jesuit record of 10.50 in the 100-meter dash, also setting School records in the high jump (6’4”) and as the anchor of the 4x100m relay team.
