Todd Wallace ’88 was a dynamic playmaker on the pitch, helping Jesuit soccer to three state championships before serving as a dominant force at NAIA powerhouse, Oklahoma City University. The Rangers compiled a record of 63-7-2 during his tenure as a four-year starter, including the stunning 1988 campaign that finished 16-0-0, and left Jesuit Dallas ranked No. 1 in the State of Texas among all private and public schools.

Dubbed the “Team of the Decade,” the 1988 soccer team was recognized by the Jesuit Dallas Sports Hall of Fame in 2005. Wallace is the third member of the Jesuit Soccer Class of 1988 to enter the hall, joining Tim Trevino ’88 and Rich Wachsman ’88.

Wallace was a two-time captain for the Jesuit Dallas soccer squad, earning Dallas Morning News All-Area First Team honors in 1987, second team plaudits in 1998, and nearly completed his career with four state championships, Jesuit’s only setback a loss on PK’s in the 1987 TCIL title game.

After participating in the 1988 Pan-Am Games, Wallace accepted a scholarship to OCU, where he still holds the all-time single-game scoring record, tallying five goals and two assists in one contest. Earning Honorable Mention All-American designation in 1992 and a pair of All-District First Team selections, Wallace was inducted into the OCU Hall of Fame in 2002.

From 1990-96, he played professionally in the USISL with the Oklahoma City Heat Soccer Club. Once finishing his professional soccer career, Wallace began a coaching career in 1995 with a select soccer program in the Metroplex.

Wallace was the Director of Coaching for the Texas Comets Soccer Club, and has served the same post for the Dallas Cosmos Soccer Club since 2002. Mentoring over 100 athletes who have gone on to collegiate soccer careers, Wallace has also served as the Director of World Class Soccer Camps since 2000, and established the Ann Kathryn Kerwin Memorial Soccer Camp.
