Jesuit Dallas Athletics

A legend on the faculty since 1956, social studies teacher Jack Eiffert began coaching in the fall of 1958 as freshman football coach and continued in coaching or athletic administration until 1974 when he assumed the job of superintendent of buildings and grounds. During those 16 years, Jack served at various times as freshman football, basketball, and baseball coach, assistant varsity football coach, tennis coach, and business manager for the athletic department.  

In addition to his coaching duties, Jack served as moderator of the School’s club bowling league, driver education instructor, and assistant to the principal’s office. After moving out of athletics, Jack kept his hands in the athletic program as the PA announcer for all the Jesuit  track meets and varsity home football games until 1995.
