Gino J. Biasatti, was a standout on the Jesuit football, team where he played under three coaches: Ed Maher, Paul Typson and Dan Rossi. In 1949, Biasetti was co-captain with Bob Rettman on Jesuit’s first undefeated team. He was voted MVP on the 1948 and 1949 football teams and was also named to the All-American Catholic High School football team for the 1949 season.

Biasatti attended Rice University playing under coach Jess Neely. He helped the Owls to the 1953 Southwest Conference Championship and a 28-6 victory over Alabama in the 1954 Cotton Bowl. He later recruited for Rice and was appointed to the board of directors of the Owl Club. Biasatti passed away in 2011.
