Brendan Feehery '16
One of the most decorated swimmers in Jesuit's storied program history, Brendan Feehery was a seven-time NISCA/Speedo All-American and two-time individual state champion in the 200 IM at the UIL Swimming & Diving Championships. Qualifying for three individual events at the 2016 United States Olympic Trials, Feehery led the Rangers to back-to-back district titles and a pair of top 10 team finishes at the state meet.

Feehery established school records in the 100 breast, 500 free, 200 and 400 free relay during his time at Jesuit, while his record of 56.18 in the 100 breast still stands. During his sophomore year, he earned a bronze medal at the state championships in the 100 back and helped propel the Rangers to eighth overall in the team standings. The next season, he cemented his legacy in Jesuit lore by becoming just the second swimmer and fifth individual in any sport to win a state title. Anchoring the Rangers' third-place finish in the 200 free relay and claiming fourth overall in the 100 breast, Feehery dropped two seconds from his seed time in the 200 IM en route to recording the seventh-fastest time in state history and capturing the 5A crown (1:47.60). His stunning performance, which was fueled by an electric back half, resulted in Jesuit finishing a program-best fifth overall at the UIL Swimming & Diving Championships.

Winning four titles, Feehery paced Jesuit to the 2016 District 9-6A Championship before providing all of the points in Jesuit's 16th-place finish at state. He finished runner-up in the 100 breast while adding his second straight state title in the 200 IM. After the season, Feehery participated in the U.S. Olympics Trials, where he qualified in the 400 IM, 100 back, and 200 back. A team captain as a senior, Feehery attended University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill on a swimming scholarship and was named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll and CSCAA Scholar All-America Honorable Mention after the 2016-17 and 2017-18 seasons.
